What have we learned from the creators of Maker Podcast
We’ve wrapped up the first season of the Maker Podcast, so now I can draw some conclusions from the discussions I had with the guests.

First of all, let me tell you about this project, you may not have heard of the podcast or watched an episode on YouTube yet.
The Maker Podcast, also the first project of this studio, is a podcast that I moderate and in which I wanted to talk to content creators about how they became makers (influencers) in online and even an image business.
First season of Maker Podcast has 10 episodes, and the guests were Louis Florea & Lorena Vișan, Dana Rogoz, Virgil Godeanu, Andreea Remețan, Christina Oné, Sore, Lorena Șerban, Edi Brandabura, Marius Elisei, Alexia Eram.

They are different, some of them have other interests – like Dana, who is also an actress; Christina who is a photographer; Virgil, a future doctor. But what unites them is the content creation in Social Media. The main channels they are communicating on are TikTok and Instagram, less on Facebook.
We work on several campaigns with content creators, but the Maker Podcast gave us the opportunity to get in front of them and learn more insights directly from them.

I want to highlight 10 important things I learned from the podcast discussions:
- starting out online is different: some began from scratch, others moved online to be close to their already formed fan community;
- creating content isn’t a 9-5 job, they’re constantly connected to what they’re doing;
- every content creator has a platform that represents them best;
- the teamwork plays an important role in everything they do;
- they want brands to trust them more and give them more creative freedom;
- it is very important for them to show authentic content;
- the relationship with the community is the most important for them and they have to be honest;
- they choose projects and campaigns that represent them;
- making money online looks like easy money, but it’s not;
- they are careful about their reputation: of what they say and do online and offline.
Interesting is what they all said about being a content creator: it’s a full-time job.
