TikTok trends for April 2024
The TikTok trends for April 2024 came with many memorable events in Social Media, most notably the beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. All of this provided fuel for new trends on TikTok that couldn’t have been otherwise.
The Victorian Memes
In this category I’ll give 2 references you’ve been seeing lately. We’re talking about those Victorian style memes done as slideshows with photos. TikTok trends from April 2024 with this sort of content are trending, and rightly so, they’re usually super fun.
Here we have YOUR HONOUR.
Here we have the “deal those cards again so I wouldn’t get mad” Victorian edition tarot.
Asoka
Bollywood entered the chat. It basically started as a make-up trend, inspired by the classic, iconic Indian makeups and it’s all over TikTok. It also kept its Makeup affiliation, here’s a reference from Cesima Cristina:
But of course it also made it to the part of TikTok that deals with our daily entertainment , or as we call them, snackable content:
I’m the biggest hater
We’re talking about the beef of the moment, Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar. A separate article on the topic will follow that will explain it in more detail, but until then I’ll leave you with the trend. Long story short, Kendrick Lamar released some disstracks for Drake, and a snippet of Euphoria went viral on TikTok.
It’s the part where Kendrick explains in the most raw way what he doesn’t like about Drake. Related to the strong impact of the word “hater” & “hate”, sometimes we all are. Whether we admit it or not, so let’s put the political correctness aside for a moment for this trend.

Punch time
I don’t know exactly what to call this one, so we’ll just call it punch time or that trend you’re arguing about with your fists. Yeah, I know, very enlightening. It’s this trend where on that sound you do all the body movements, you take a boxing stance and every argument is on a peak of the sound. I guess I’d better show you. What aesthetic are you?
I’m just a girly girl and I love stuff like that, no questions asked. Yes, I might dress up like a bro, but in my heart I’m just a girl (insert that cute big-eyed mouse).
