October 31 was the night of the witches, or Halloween, as it&#8217;s called abroad. In Romania it&#8217;s not such a well covered and appreciated topic, but I have a feeling that in a few years it&#8217;s going to take off due to the change of mentality of the generations, so it&#8217;s good to take notes now, us advertising people.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Now that we&#8217;ve set the general mood for this article, I want to browse a bit through what brands did on TikTok this Halloween.<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">My favorites all the time, and I think you&#8217;ve already noticed this pattern with me: <strong>Duo Lingo<\/strong>. Btw, reminder: if you haven&#8217;t done your Spanish\/French\/Japanese\/Portuguese etc lesson and lost your streaks, Duo is coming for you to kidnap you and lock you in the basement. I&#8217;m not joking (moment of appreciation for the community management on the TikTok Duo Lingo account).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Who hasn&#8217;t seen <em>Mean Girls<\/em>?<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If you haven&#8217;t seen this classic starring Linsday Lohan by now stop everything you&#8217;re doing and watch the movie. You have no excuse. Linsday Lohan, or Cady from Mean Girls, had this famous quote, &#8220;Halloween is the one night a year when girls can dress like a total ^#%*@(^$#! and no other girls can say anything about it.&#8221; Of course, referring to those classic American high school parties, but very, very relatable. We all have that friend who listens to carols in July (I&#8217;m that friend). Funny enough, Fortnite has capitalized on the war of the two holidays in a very relatable way. Guess who gave them ideas and reminded them that it&#8217;s been another year since they did it: <strong>Crocs<\/strong>. Slowly, but surely, Crocs is making its way to my top content-wise. Now I&#8217;m also a little biased, I like Crocs.
