We’ve wrapped up the first season<\/strong><\/span> of the Maker Podcast, so now I can draw some conclusions from the discussions I had with the guests.<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n

First of all, let me tell you about this project, you may not have heard of the podcast or watched an episode on YouTube yet.<\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The Maker Podcast, also the first project of this studio, is a podcast that I moderate and in which I wanted to talk to content creators about how they became makers (influencers) in online and even an image business.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

First season of Maker Podcast has 10 episodes, and the guests were Louis Florea<\/strong> & Lorena<\/strong> Vi\u0219an<\/strong>, Dana Rogoz<\/strong>, Virgil Godeanu<\/strong>, Andreea Reme\u021ban<\/strong>, Christina On\u00e9<\/strong>, Sore<\/strong>, Lorena<\/strong> \u0218erban<\/strong>, Edi Brandabura<\/strong>, Marius Elisei<\/strong>, Alexia Eram<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n

They are different, some of them have other interests – like Dana, who is also an actress; Christina who is a photographer; Virgil, a future doctor. But what unites them is the content creation in Social Media. The main channels they are communicating on are TikTok and Instagram, less on Facebook.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We work on several campaigns with content creators, but the Maker Podcast gave us the opportunity to get in front of them and learn more insights directly from them.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n

I want to highlight 10 important things I learned from the podcast discussions:<\/mark><\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. starting out online is different<\/strong>: some began from scratch, others moved online to be close to their already formed fan community;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. creating content<\/strong> isn’t a 9-5 job, they’re constantly connected to what they’re doing;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. every content creator has a platform that represents them best<\/strong>;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. the teamwork<\/strong> plays an important role in everything they do;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. they want brands to trust them more<\/strong> and give them more creative freedom<\/strong>;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. it is very important for them to show authentic content<\/strong>;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. the relationship with the community<\/strong> is the most important for them and they have to be honest;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. they choose projects and campaigns that represent them<\/strong>;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. making money online<\/strong> looks like easy money, but it’s not;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. they are careful about their reputation<\/strong>: of what they say and do online and offline.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    Interesting is what they all said about being a content creator: it’s a full-time job<\/em>.<\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n
